Rebecca St. Julien

After spending a year at an orphanage in Cairo, Egypt and a year teaching English and cultural adaptation skills to refugees in Georgia (USA), Rebecca moved to Beirut in March 2006.  Despite being twice evacuated from the country in times of violence, Rebecca continues to work as the Resource Development and Communications Coordinator for Habitat for Humanity Lebanon.  Habitat Lebanon is currently transitioning from a major reconstruction effort following the July-August 2006 fighting into a broader extension of its life-changing housing programs throughout poverty-stricken areas of Lebanon.
