Matt Vinson

Print

Matt spent summer 2006 in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic working alongside a Pentecostal pastor. His duties included visits to the sick, the elderly, prisoners, and orphans. Matt is also helping with construction projects--building churches, potable water systems, medical clinics, and so forth. Matt is in the Dominican Republic as part of his Master of Divinity training at Princeton Theological Seminary, and is being hosted by the Foundation for Peace. The Foundation for Peace grew out of the work of Rev. Dr. Alberto Martinez and his wife, Rosalina (also a doctor), and Puerto Ricans who have worked as medical missionaries here for 46 years. Matt returned to Princeton in September 2006 for his last year. He has plans either to pursue a PhD (historical theology, early church period/patristics) or ordination.
