IGE Capitol Hill Book Launch Event

Print

On 21 September co- -authors H. Knox Thames and Amy Rowe were joined by IGE President Chris Seiple on Capitol Hill for the launch of their new Baylor University Press book, International Religious Freedom Advocacy: A Guide to Organizations, Law, and NGOs.  The book event, hosted by International Religious Freedom Caucus Co-Chair Congressman Trent Franks (R-AZ), was an opportunity for friends, the co-authors, and congressional and NGO staff to engage in a discussion about best practices for promoting religious freedom.  International Religious Freedom Advocacy: A Guide to Organizations, Law, and NGOs is a unique guidebook for engagement, providing helpful insights into the tangled web of international organizations, international law, and non-governmental organizations that work to advance religious freedom worldwide. This handbook focuses on the practical; it is neither an exhaustive encyclopedia nor an academic treatise. It is a user-friendly, straightforward tool for empowering would-be advocates to effectively promote religious freedom.
