Say No to “Jihadis,” “Islamic terrorism” and “Islamo-Fascism”

Print

By Dr. Chris Seiple on 06 August 2010

Read Chris Seiple's most recent contribution to the Washington Post/Newsweek "On Faith" blog,  Say No to 'Jihadis,' 'Islamic terrorism' and 'Islamo-Fascism' in which he argues that honest discussion of terrorism must include Islam, because the terrorists see it as their motivation—yet we should also avoid terms that only confirm terrorists' self-perception as religious and/or insult the vast majority of Muslims who condemn terrorists as profoundly un-Islamic.
