15 March 2010

IGE Senior Fellow Suhail Khan attended the fourth "Nyon Process" meeting in Istanbul, Turkey, in March 2010. The Nyon Process, a sub-dialogue of the United Nation's Alliance of Civilizations, convenes faith-based actors and secular institutions to discuss peace-building. Topics of discussion at the March meeting included President Barack Obama's record one year out, the Mideast peace process, the implications of the recent elections in Iraq, and the role of faith in government and in strengthening international security.
